I've been (over?)thinking a lot how to describe sound the way I experience it, which is a little bit of synesthesia. I am leaning into it more, but also trying to make sure it makes sense. (For example, I have learned that others do not perceive the call of a white-breasted nuthatch as little orange triangles.) It's really helpful to know that this description made sense!
